Rosebank Cottage

Our fully renovated 130 year-old settler's cottage will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.

The original rustic exterior has been retained, while the fully renovated interior has all the modern conveniences that will make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. The period and antique furniture complements the warm atmosphere of this charming cottage.

Location

It is situated in two acres of private gardens on a twenty acre farmlet, overlooking arguably the best views of the Nelson / Richmond area, from rugged limestone mountains to the West, sea to the north and the patchwork horticulture of the Waimea Plains in the foreground.

Private Enclave

The cottage has its own car park and private entrance and garden with BBQ facilities in your own private enclave.  It is a perfect honeymoon retreat or for anyone who wants to enjoy this unique environment.

There is also a tournament sized tennis court within the grounds which you are welcome to use.

In the Area

The area boasts some of the best trout fishing in the world and experienced fishing guides are available on request.

An evening meal can be enjoyed at any one of the many local award winning cafes and restaurants, in either Richmond or Nelson, or simply stay at home and enjoy your own private BBQ.

Hamper Breakfast

A special feature of Rosebank Cottage is their excellent "Hamper Breakfast", complete with seasonal fresh fruit, home-made bread, croissants and muffins.

Your breakfast hamper will be delivered to your cottage each morning.
