Rosebank Cottage is situated an easy 20 minutes south of Nelson towards Christchurch or just 7 minutes south of Richmond.

From Nelson you head south along State Highway 6 towards Murchison/Christchurch........you will pass through the main intersection lights of Richmond - continue through these lights - direction south for approx 4 kms until you see the 100km speed sign. Some 300 metres beyond this, take the first left hand turn - Aniseed Valley Road. You will also notice a large Hoddys Orchard Sign at this point.
Continue along Aniseed Valley road - you will cross over a Stop sign intersection (Hope School on your right) until you reach a T-intersection and you will take a left hand turn and continue up Aniseed Valley Road as it winds up the hill for 1km. At the very top you will see Rosebank Cottage sign posted above the letter box on your right ... Welcome, you have arrived.

From Christchurch head north direction Nelson, passing through Murchison and also the small township of Wakefield. From Wakefield continue north and you will bypass the small town of Brightwater. You will pass the Brightwater Tavern on your right and then cross the two laned Brightwater Bridge over the Wairoa River. Some 300 to 400 metres after this take the first right hand turn on Clover Road and continue along this road to the end - turn left into Haycocks Road and continue along this road for approx 1.5 km, pass through a give way sign and this road turns into Aniseed Valley Road. Continue up Aniseed Valley Road as it winds up the hill for 1km. At the very top you will see Rosebank Cottage sign posted above the letter box on your right ... Welcome, you have arrived.
