duration of your stay. Although the original rustic
exterior has been retained, the fully renovated interior with all
the modern conveniences will make your stay a comfortable and memorable
one. The period and antique furniture complement the warm atmosphere
of this charming cottage.
It
is situated in two acres of private gardens on a twenty acre farmlet,
overlooking arguably the best views of the 
Nelson
/ Richmond area, from rugged limestone mountains to the West,
sea to the north and the patchwork horticulture of the Waimea
Plains
in the foreground.
The
cottage has its own private entrance and garden with BBQ facilities
in your own private enclave. There is also a tournament sized
tennis court within the grounds.
It
is
a perfect honeymoon retreat or for anyone who
wants to enjoy this unique experience
in the most spectacular environment.
The
area boasts some of the best
trout fishing
in the world and experienced fishing guides are available on request.
An
evening meal can be enjoyed at any one of the many local award
winning cafes and restaurants, in either Richmond or Nelson, or
simply stay at home and enjoy your own private BBQ.
A
special feature of Rosebank Cottage is their
excellent ‘hamper breakfast’, complete with fresh
fruit in season, home-made bread, croissants and muffins which
will be delivered to your cottage each morning.
